# Third-party licences

Everything HandScenes ships that someone else made, and what their licence
requires of us. Checked by `python tools/audit_disclosures.py`, which fails if a
file under `models/` has no entry here.

Some of these licences (CC BY, CC BY-SA) require **attribution** — the credits
below are not courtesy, they are the licence terms. If an asset is removed,
delete its entry; if one is added, add it before shipping.

## 3D models and assets

- `skeleton.glb` — anatomical skeleton, 144 individually named bones (converted
  from the source OBJ; hand, wrist and arm bones at full detail, the rest simplified).

- `vendor/textures/cosmos/` — planet, Moon, Sun and Saturn-ring texture maps for
  the Cosmos scene (Earth day, night, clouds and ocean mask; Mercury, Venus, Mars,
  Jupiter, Saturn, Saturn's rings, Moon, Sun). Source:
  [Solar System Scope textures](https://www.solarsystemscope.com/textures/),
  based on NASA elevation and imagery data. Licence: **CC BY 4.0**.
  Changes: resized and re-compressed to JPEG (the ocean mask converted from TIFF).
  Requires: attribution. Credited in: this file and the README.

- `hand_landmarker.task` — MediaPipe Hand Landmarker, © Google.

- `candy-9.onnx`, `mosaic-9.onnx`, `udnie-9.onnx` — fast-neural-style transfer,
  from the [ONNX Model Zoo](https://github.com/onnx/models/tree/main/validated/vision/style_transfer/fast_neural_style),
  originally from [pytorch/examples](https://github.com/pytorch/examples/tree/master/fast_neural_style).

## Loaded from a CDN at runtime

None. Every script, font, model and WASM file is served from this site's own
origin, and the `vercel.json` CSP allows only `'self'` for scripts, styles,
fonts and network requests.
